Some things start long before you realize...

We were two sisters who grew up spending summers in Büyükada. The ferry, the heat, the pine and horse smell, the slow pace of the island. Like most kids, we made things with our hands. We'd string beads into bracelets and sell them at the pier. We'd save up to buy personalized necklace charms; the kind with a letter, or a tiny shape that felt like it was made just for you. We didn't know it then, but we were already chasing something: the feeling that what you wear can say something real about who you are.

Years later, we found ourselves deep in raw materials and manufacturing. We knew factories. We knew supply chains. We knew what things were made of, and what corners got cut. Working extensively in the footwear sector, we kept looking for a slipper we actually wanted to wear; something honest in its materials, quiet in its design, and genuinely personal. We couldn't find it.

So we built it.

INEA is made from natural rubber. It is biodegradable. It molds to your foot and moves with you all day. And like those childhood bracelets, it's yours to make your own. Each pair can be personalized with charms you choose.

The name INEA is made the same way: from the initials of our four children, because everything we make is rooted in care.
